Atomic aka "Acid Trip" tomatoes start solid purple on the vine, developing deep green stripes mid-stage that mingle with red and yellow patterns as they fully ripen. Cooler weather causes more purples and greens to appear but either season produces a deliciously complex balance of sweet, acidic, and vegetal flavors in a tender, soft skinned tomato with texture halfway between mealy and buttery.
